This series of works from different periods where new metaphysical worlds are born in the space between real and digital nature. In Sofya's artistic practice, images merge into installations, and sculptures merge into images - the artist combines real natural landscapes, traces of her sculptures and pieces of memories that cannot always be described as man-made.Most of the memories we operate with today have a digital basis. Perceiving memories indirectly, memories change and no longer fully belong to humans. In turn, nature is still filled with its own special phenomena, a non-human mystique. However, the digital experience questions the existence of real nature. Exploring the landscape of human memories created by technology, Sofya creates new imaginary worlds that never existed or, perhaps, will become the landscape of the near future...
