From the author:
The landscapes are based on photographs I took of real locations, but with the addition of various abstract, glowing shapes that suggest something between natural optical phenomena and paranormal occurrences. They depict the evening hours, the moment when dusk falls—a transitional period between night and day, a liminal zone that holds sacred significance in many cultures. It is a brief window of time when the unpredictable may occur. The painting style is intentionally soft and blurred, creating a misty, slightly mysterious, and subtly magical effect.
