Misha is a contemporary artist, street art artist and curator from Voronezh. Co-founder and curator of the artist run exhibition space and cultural center "High Five" in Voronezh and "IP Vinogradov" in Moscow.
In his practice Misha explores the interaction between street and digital environments, using found objects that reflect the industrial image of post-Soviet cities.
Further, in his projects Misha refers to pop-cultural and sub-cultural phenomena related to networked communities. It could be the exploration of early digital environment through nostalgic images from the 00's, or the reference to the Internet phenomena based on a certain visual culture of the 10's (such as Webpunk and Tumbler), or to different contemporary teen offline and online subcultural trends — E-girl, Traumacore and etc.
Through his artistic method he is close to the logic of hauntology — nostalgia for the lost past that never existed, often turning into longing for a future that will never come.
